From Kelly to Monica
Kelly created Tumbitri Meri to give bullet journalists and notebook lovers premium, functional tools for recording amazing lives. I (Monica) was a customer first –and when Kelly planned to close, a few lucky turns meant I could carry the mission forward: beautiful, durable journals that make daily pages a joy.
Quick Answers
Will my pens bleed?
Original (120gsm) has been tested with UNI Pin, Magic Colour, Faber Castell watercolours, Stabilo Point Fineliners, Tombow Dual Brush, Artline Calligraphy and Fineliner plus many more, with no bleeding or feathering and minimal ghosting.
Kelsey (160gsm) is impressively resilient for creative journaling. Single-pass brush pens and regular watercolour techniques perform beautifully. Bleed-through can occur only when you push into heavy, repeated blending or very wet washes.
What's included?
Gift box + tools: stainless ruler (Original) or gold BUJO stencil ruler (Kelsey)
Does it lie flat?
Yes! – true 180º sewn lay-flat binding
What are the pages like?
All dotted pages are numbered for easy organization; Dots are spaced 5mm apart- 39 dots down and 27 across
